Terms of service

Last updated 13 September 2026

This document is a working draft and has not yet been reviewed by a solicitor. If you need a signed version for your records, please contact us.

In this document “we”, “us” and “FIINO” mean FIINO .

1. The service

FIINO provides online practice management software for accounting firms. These terms apply between us and the organisation that signs up (“you”). The person accepting them confirms they can bind that organisation.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the people you give access to, the roles you give them, and keeping sign-in details secure. Tell us promptly about any unauthorised access.

3. Your data

You own the data you put into FIINO. You give us permission to host and process it only to provide the service, as set out in the data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms. You can export your data while your account is active.

4. Professional responsibility

FIINO is a tool. You remain responsible for your professional work, including the accuracy of accounts, returns and filings and meeting your clients' deadlines, and for checking any figures before relying on them.

5. Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices exclude VAT. If payment fails or a subscription ends, your firms become read-only; your data is kept and can still be viewed and exported.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use FIINO unlawfully, try to access another customer's data, disrupt the service, or upload malicious code. We may suspend access to protect the service or other customers, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

7. Support access

We will only open your firm's data when a firm admin has granted support access, except for a short, read-only emergency session when needed to restore or protect the service, which we record and tell your admins about.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep FIINO available and to give reasonable notice of planned maintenance and of material changes to the service or these terms.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit.

10. Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time; the subscription runs to the end of the paid period. After cancellation you can export your data for 30 days before we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, whose courts have jurisdiction.
